Data usage?

We are on a very basic plan for our daughter. She has 250 MB of data included. I’m just curious… if she exceeds this, will there be overage fees?  Or does data just stop?  Thanks!

Most of us would prefer that the data gets throttled to an unusably low speed like 128kbps after the usage limit is over. This would help significantly in emergent situations, but PM's plans are cheaper than the competitors', and most of them don't offer such tapered off fair usage policies either.

This is the great thing about public mobile....there are no overages, extra billing or hidden fees. The data will just stop.  MMS (picture texts) require mobile data to be on but does not count against data so will work whether not there is any data left on the account. Be sure to enable any data saving tools on your daughters phone such as turning all background data off and set the data tracker to the correct 30 days of her plan cycle.

There are no overage charges. Once your data is used up it stops. You then have to wait for the next cycle.

@Allierobillard   No overage.. the data will just stop.  no surprise billing

if you need extra data, you will actually need to buy Data Add-on .  The add-on has no expiry date and will kick in whenever the regular data are all used up.
