The only way to avoid all data usage is to turn the data off on your device. Anthing that use an internet connection can use mobile data. This includes e-mail, web browsing, streaming video and audio, and any app that you have running in the background that uses the internet (which you might not even be aware of).

The charges were at 12:51 AM on March 7 2024 and were for 3.95 MB of data

@Larry6 You can only use the data you already paid for PM is pre paid so you never get a surprise bill . Also note PM updates its data usage 2x a day so when you see a time stamp in the middle of the night it’s just PM updating the prior 12 hours day usage you used being updated

@Larry6 , the usage posted for data is done in batches twice a day. The timestamp shown for each batch is not representative of actual time in which data was consumed.
