I have pre-loaded Visa card from MoGo.
Public Mobile doesn’t recognize it, so SIM card sent to me is essentially useless.
Why doesn't Public Mobile recognize a Visa card.

So far the Public Mobile is the only one that doesn’t accept this Visa card.
I only have 1 postal code.

@hTideGnow- Koho works perfectly fine here. Peoples Trust seems to back a lot of these alternative Visa/Mastercard cards.

Koho is also not CDIC insured. Both of them are via Peoples Trust.
Does the Mogo card work in other online places?
The postal code used for Mogo is the one you entered here?

The activation portal is confirmed to be working if you want to try again. Clear your browser and use secret/incognito mode and maybe pm will take a liking to your card a second time around?

Koho too....you get 0.5% cash back. There's only a fee to use a non-affiliated bank machine.

The reason I picked MoGo because there is absolutely no fees for using or not using the card.

HI @Echo04 PM Self Serve system is now down. It was down yesterday and that affected activation portal as well
Maybe wait till tomorrow or Sunday and try again. Or you can message PM CS agent and ask them why it wasn't working

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent

You can apply for a koho card that does work. I would imagine one of the reasons it's not accepted is its not covered by the CDIC.

HI @Echo04 I do not know much about MoGo, but is that considered as a card issued by Canadian or US institutions?
and it is a Visa debit? does it has a postal code tied to it?

Your PM SIM is not useless.
Contact agent to open your PM account and activate SIM and agent will do that AND put your account into suspension mode. Then you have to buy voucher and add funds that way. Agent might be even able to add your credit card to your account and you can pay calling 1-855-478-2542. People reported this way works...
