My husband activated his SIM card to find out his phone is not compatible. He has a Samsung A70. Is there anything that can be done refund wise for the plan?

@Badcock A70 is compatible on PM network. Even local variant of A70 should be partially compatible. Give us the exact model from the About screen on your phone and we can check
And sorry, phone compatibility is not a reason for refindm. Afterall, PM is a prepaid provider and won't provide refund.
However, you can doable Pre-authorized payment from My Account or via *611 so PM won't charge you on next renewal. This put the account in suspended stage and the account will then be formally closed 90 days later

According this website information, Samsung A70 is compatible with PM, the only problem is that there are only two frequency bands on 3G and 4G can use that means the signal may be weak for Samsung A70 in some place.
Did your husband try to make a call or receive a call? Is it works?

The nano size is very small so line up with the 45 degree notch with the notch on the SIM tray.
A friend didn’t realize this and placed it wrong in the SIM and damage the SIM but good thing it still works.
He used a magnifying glass to see this to place it incorrectly.

@Badcock The PM SIM is a triple punch, so it will fit standard, micro, nano. See this link for an explanation. I think you just have to punch out the smallest SIM (nano) for it to fit the A70.

@pmbc The nano SIM does not fit correctly in the SIM card tray.

Exact model number would help, but from what I see the North American version of the A70 has all the bands needed for service with Public Mobile?
So what is the "not compatible" statement based on?

@Badcock The A70 supports nano SIM so the PM SIM should fit. What do you mean it's not compatible? Is it locked to another carrier? All phones sold from 2017 should be unlocked to any carriers and the A70 came out in 2019.

@Badcock Typically no as PM is pre paid service but you can try support and ask
