Id anyone aware of what of $10.17 charge may be ? I am on a monthly plan and was not expecting this charge. Instead, I made a referral and was hoping to get the $10 reward which never really showed up. So, submitted a ticket and got a vague response from the agent and now I am clueless about the next steps.

Hello @ Dishap,
The payment might also come from another number if the credit card is registered to another Public Mobile account. You can open a ticket and an agent will check the transaction.

all transactions will appear in the Payment history page.
it could be just a browser cache problem. Please try again using Incognito/private/secret mode on your browser to login My Account, or try using the PM app (logoff the app first and log back in)
if you still cannot find the transaction or unsure about the $9+tax charge, then submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:

Type the question "Submit ticket", Then click the following in order: "Contact Us" , "Other", "Log In".

Thanks for your response on how the referral works. I’m good with that. But still not good with what the $10.17 amount is.

Interestingly, the $9 payment doesnt show up on my payment history but an amount of $10.17 on my credit card.

It looks like it is $9 +13% tax.
I am not aware of any add-on or service costing $9?
Screenshot from your PM account (NOT credit card) might help to determine what is that all about.

can you post us a screenshot of the $10.17 charge? Check the Payment history page on My Account https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/payment/payment-history Post the one that associate with that $10.17 charge (it should show $9 on Payment page as it shows the pre-tax amount) and post couple charges before and after so we can try to help
for friend referral, you don't get the $10 yourself. $10 is a one time credit for the one who you referred. But you will get better deal, you can 1 reward points for cycle for as long as your friend stay with PM, that is 12 points, or $12, already in a year, and can be more. Check your My Rewards page for your friend reward points and other reward points https://myrewards.publicmobile.ca/
