Changed number won't work

I recently changed my phone number and now my talk and text services do not work it shows my old phone number still as the current phone number in my settings any suggestions on what I can do

Are you by chance an iphone user?

 

Set up your phone number On your iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > Messages and make sure that iMessage is on. You might need to wait a moment for it to activate.
  2. Tap Send & Receive. If you see “Use your Apple ID for iMessage,” tap it and sign in with the same Apple ID that you use on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch.
  3. In the "You can receive iMessages" section, make sure that your phone number and Apple ID are selected.
  4. Go to Settings > FaceTime and make sure that your phone number and Apple ID are selected in the "You can be reached by FaceTime at" section.

 

 

Try performing a RESET of the NETWORK SETTINGS of your device.

Try one at a time::

- Rebooting phone

- Reseat SIM card

- Reset network settings

 

Edit: Not sure if changing number could affect it, but if nothing works, ask CS to check SIM provisioning:

You can change your phone number up to 4 times every 30 days after you’ve activated. To change  go to your Self Serve Account here link, and:

  • Select the “Plans and Add ons” tab
  • Click on “Change Phone Number”
  • Then, you can choose to select a new phone number 
  • and do Rebooting your phone,

    *what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.


Please note that this isnt a website issue and instructions aren't needed how to change the phone number as the customer has already made the change.

If still fails, you have a second phone to test it out instead?

i suggest you close all Browser and do clear cache and cookies for any Browser,

and try it for a different Browser and open incognito mode,
