I want to change the date that my sons plan will renew to make it the same day as mine. They're only a few days apart so I was thinking I would just turn off his auto renewal, wait the couple of days till mine renews, and then re-enable auto-renewal on my sons phone. His account is setup with a few referrals and has the 2$ auto pay bonus. If I stop the auto renewal for a couple of days, he won't lose any of thoes referal or auto-renew bonuses when we re-enable, will he?

As the plans are not monthly but are either 30 or 90-day cycles, why does it matter what day you pay with AutoPay turned on? You know the dates are only a few apart, and your payments won't change unexpectedly (referrals may be somewhat frequent).

If both of your accounts are using the same credit/debit card, it may trigger the bank fraud detection system for two consecutive charge within a short time from PM.

@Ehgroal hi if you suspend his account you are asking for trouble with this system lol I would leave well enough alone if you ever decide to change his plan which I am assuming is the one a few days later then just renew early to coincide with yours

In addition, watch for doing transactions on the same day. It *could* trigger a fraud alert and not work.

He would still keep the rewards.
Here some info about rewards.
If you change to an earlier renewal date then you would lose any unused minutes, data or texts.
