Cannot get onto account to change subscription or update SIM card

We cannot get onto my daughters account to change her SIM card as she can not receive the texted code.  We can not get the system to send an email code.  We do not have the old SIM card.

although you can buy from PM website, better to buy from Amazon, they ship a lot faster

Yes thank you.  However just back from the store and we can no longer purchase SIM cards locally on PEI.  Does anyone know if you can buy SIM cards in Nova Scotia??

if no email option, you will have to submit ticket with CS agent and ask them to help update the sim card

First, I would recommend trying to get into her account using a different browser. Then try this.

Can’t get the 6 digit 2FA code to your phone? Try this method

First, sign into your account at www.publicmobile.ca and use the email you signed up with and the password. If it asks you for a 6 digit code, it will say at the top left CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY.- Enter the 6- digit code sent to *********.  But it’s not working!!! As you see by the screen shot below, 1. Click the This is a trusted device. 2. Didn’t get the code? Click on that.

Then, the next window that pops up is this.

Click on Send email. Here it will send you the 6 digit code to the email you registered with. This step is very important. Do not just copy and paste. Enter each digit using your key pad.

You should now be able to get into your account.

@Arlene33 Get support to SIM card swap the number for you and you will then receive the code to that new SIM card to log into the account
