Cannot Receive Phone Calls

Hello,

Just changed over to public mobile. I can Send & Receive text messages from phones outside public mobile and make calls, but when I call my phone number (or have a friend try) it goes straight to voicemail.

Any suggestions? Have tried turning phone on and off. Switched at 18:23, January 14

Old SIM does not work.

I can make calls (my old number shows up), send text to some phone numbers, receive texts, go online, but cannot receive phone calls. I have messaged the moderators.

@stumac94 Try your old SIM. If it works just keep using it until the PM SIM is functional. Do not close your old account; that will happen automatically. Or if you have another phone, use your old SIM in it and carry on with two phones

If your port-in of a cell number has stalled more than 3 hours you will need moderator assistance. If so, send  a private message to the moderator team with your phone number, SIM #, and an explanation.

@stumac94 if you have just ported your number from your previous service provider, it may take some time to complete the port.

@stumac94 also if you have province wide talk plan and ur in another province you will not receive or make calls text etc

@stumac94 the number can take a few minutes to hrs to port and make sure you select auto search for network and gsm/wcdma/ lte auto and youll be good to go

Kidding asside, how long has it been?  Did you port over a number, or did you have a new number assigned?
