Just for the sake of completeness, the terms and conditions do state that one can contact support to cancel the service. But why bother? Just stop paying using the methods already mentioned. Even the lost/stolen function will have the same effect.

@wei-wang_1999 that's good. PM wont charge you again on your next renewal.
Just in case you change your mind, you have 90 days grace period to come back after the first day of suspension

@wei-wang_1999 This isn't the place to cancel your account. Go into your account and disable any auto pay. Not paying for the account will suspend it and after 90 days it will be deleted.

Login to My Account and disable Preauthorized payments from payment page.

@wei-wang_1999 You cannot just cancel your account like this. You have to manage it yourself via My Account
By, cancel, I assume you don't want to keep your number, you just want to close your account with PM and give up the number. Please follow these steps to "cancel" the account
you can also login to My Account and go to Payment page -> Manage Payment Method, and then disable Pre-Authorized payment. PM will not be able to renew your account on your next renewal , your account will then be suspended on that day and 90 more days, it will be closed
