I have a credit on my account. If I cancel and port my phone number will I get that credit back?

To reiterate what MeOW said, whatever you do don't cancel PM before you have ported your number to wherever you're going.

@Jossybaby83 No sorry PM is pre paid no refunds. . You would be best to use up your credits first then port out if you still want to . Or you will lose the credits .

Nope. The credit is meant to be used on the account. This is a pre paid system. You need to use the credit before porting out
