Porting number from number barn

Trying to transfer the number from number barn. I can make calls, but no incoming calls are happening.  The old number is also not working. I would like to keep my old number as an additinal line if its still possoble so atleast I can still receive calls when people call my old number

but you already requested porting?  if you did, the original number on the PM account would be gone

if you want both the original number on the PM account as well as the number from NumberBarn, you need to setup two  PM account (pay for 2 plans)

I was hoping to keep my old number for about 6 months, as it is my business number. Can PM add a new line with my old number?

NumberBarn is a VoIP provider and it is normal that i can take 3 to 7 days for it to successfully ported

and sorry, with PM porting system, you cannot keep a temp number while you are waiting for port to be completed

The workaround is to setup a VoIP app TextNow and give the phone number assigned by TextNow to your friends and use it to receive calls until the ported number arrives, 3 to 7 days
