Can I get a rundown on what I can and cannot do with this Addon. If I add this Addon to my plan. How does this work. (Province Ontario wide plan) Can I call Canada from the states. Can I make calls from Canada to states. Can I receive calls when I'm the states or in Montreal.  Will my data work in Montreal if I had this Addon when I visit Montreal.

So, to summarize, Canada and U.S. LD add-on is strictly for use while you are in Canada.

Since all calls outbound made to a tel # within the same province you are physically located are always free, this plan only applies to:

• outbound calls to the U.S.,
• to outbound calls to a neighbouring province from where you are physically,
• and to all inbound calls if you are outside your home province (based on the area code of your tel#, not your registered address on the account, which may be different).

If you need inbound or outbound calls while in the U.S., you must get a U.S. Talk-based add-on.

Your phone / PM plan will not work in the US at all unless you purchase a US add-on (valid 10days) (or go with a local SIM card if it makes sense for your traveling plans.)

If i remember correctly you will still be able to receive text messages. Definatly you can not call or send sms.  your phone will still work on wifi 🙂  

also you can call teh 18884public (i think that is it) to activate US addons if you have a credit card tied to teh account and if you know your pin number.  

I used the toll free number and it was great as we were  away for 14 days and I overlapped my account and my wifes account so that way we always had one phone with service.  hers had data and calling and texting, while mine only calls and text.

I think in your first paragraph it should be added with: incoming calls in your home province are always free. If you are in your home province and call to another province or the US the long distance minutes will be deducted. (assuming you are on a provincial talk plan)

the addon will allow you to make and receieve calls when you are out of your home provence.  calls made in the province your phone is in  are always free

data work canada wide no addon needed

you need a seperate addon if you go to the USA
