Subscribe to this thread if you want to be notified when a new Public Mobile (PM) promo comes out!

If everyone who is interested in getting notified when there is a new promotion, simply subscribe to this thread.

Then, whenever someone finds a PM promo, or even a change in the plan offerings (not all are announced), simply come and post it here (bookmark this post for easy reference). If you include a link to the announcement, that would be even better.

This way everyone subscribed will get notified (make sure your e-mail notifications option in your profile is turned on).

The more people subscribe and participate, the more eyes there will be involved and the easier it will become.

Spread the word around to help make this work...

This is not how the labs posts are intended to work. There's shopping forums that do a much better job than a labs post.

Maybe in some way but the advantage of having it on this site is that it is very focused, already monitored and visited regularly by people like yourself who are likely to be in the know much sooner and better. It is also just one avenue...that is more targetted...I don't want to see a new thread started for each new offer or changes in plans at PM...that is far to hard to track down and follow.

The idea with this thread is that it would be a permanent one to keep using to hopefully a growing subscriber list, or at least the ones keen on staying in the loop.

But I like your idea too...I'll see what I can get started on some other sites like RFD (RedFlagDeals)...

P.S. It is likely harder to get the same visibility on just one cell service provider on broader shopping forums...that is one of my motivations to have it here...audience is already tuned into PM.

@pm-smayer97  I do agree with @will13am  this is not a how PL is suposed to be used, I do like teh idea though since I do not think that PM actually accounces all promos or price changes.  I think this should however be in the general discussions area.   and it doenst go against the forum rules (promoting other carriers) and it isn;t advertising anything but PM.

the only issue is that after a couple days this post or one n the general discussions will get forgotten.  You could make a macro and add it to your posts in the community (like a signature) that way it doens't get forgotten.

I have reported this as an inappropriate thread as this is not an idea for PM to work on.  We have a hard enough time getting good ideas worked on and fixed and to have a thread like this in this section makes no sense and doesn't belong.

I am new here...I simply thought the Public Lab is an area for ideas...I'm ok if this gets places somewhere else too...

@pm-smayer97  I would just post the thread in the discussions area.  I dont think it violates any of PM rules.  Another option could be chaging your  orriginal post to say "PM should create an emial list of people interested in hearing about pormotions.  show your support for this idea by liking and subscribing to it.

@mimmo There already is a thread like that and I have upvoted it...but that has been proposed by many with no action...this is an immediate way to actually make something happen at the grassroots and fills a gap now, at least until something more efficient comes along.
