Lets not lie to our self,
telus has decided to even shut down koodo mobile app.
clearly, PM customers wont be getting an app on their phones.
However, what i truly would love to see happening is a mobile friendly ( my account page ) same as every single other provider.
ex: fido, freedom mobile, luckymobile, koodo ... ets
the current my account page on publicmobile.ca is a full page view regardless of the device you're using which makes it look stupid and not a user friendly specially if you're using your phone !!
PM, would you please feel jealous of your other brother koodo and dress your ugly looking website just like him for once and hopefully for ever !!

Great idea, but given the pace of improvement initiatives, this could take take forever to consider. I can't imagine betterments taking a front seat to the long list of bugs needing attention.

So true, completely agree with you, I don;t know any online company that doesn;t have a desktop platform and a mobile platform.  Ya it seems a mobile app is completely out of the question, but having a more user friendly mobile version woudn't hurt.  But as @will13am mentioned, this would definitely be at the bottom of the to-do list. 

 

Although it may seem like an obvious and maybe simple task, but everything comes at a cost.  Guess they need to determine whether having a mobile version is worth the money and effort, i.e. would this have an effect on customer retention and acquisition.

I do agree that a mobile friend site is required for self-serve.  The desktop site on mobile is awful, especially for those such as myself who are visually impaired.

 

I prefer the desktop access on my computer, or even my iPad, as I have a larger screen to view the information.

 

But as noted, Public Mobile is the forgotten child at Telus, lacking the path to fixing currently very bad glitches and technical problems that should have been fixed already.   I’ve been here for approximately 18 months, and the problems back then, are still happening.

mobile version would be  nice, just copy koodos, (its what PM did for their existing self serve, just change the colour and logo)  but this too must wait.   maybe we will see something happen as a ews years resolution from PM,  new years  2020 maybe... 🙂
