Can use my iPad through my iPhone to get access to internet while roaming in USA or Mexico. I want to use my iPhone as hotspot, will it be extra data?

@MABMAB, I was in the U.S. back in April and used my phone as a hotspot all week and had no extra charges. As long as you have data remaining on your account for the month it will continue to work.

You can do tethering. Activate it in your phone and connect ipad to it through WIFi.

Not with Public Mobile. Long as you have data to use...you can hotspot it.

For talk in USA, you MUST have a VoLTE enabled cell that Public Mobile recognises...otherwise no talk, text/data will be fine either way. Here's some info to read and a devise checker at bottom of page...

Your cell should connect to AT&T or T-Mobile in USA, then AT&T, Telcel or Movistar when in Mx.

@MABMAB

you can use your data on your ipad using hotsot. You won't be charged extra. Make sure to enable Roaming in iphone settings.
