@Anni8  yes when in the US make sure you have data roaming turned on in phone settings . I also recommend you set phone to 4G /LTE not 5G . And make sure your connect to T mobile or AT&T for your best experience

There is no specific account setting for that.  When it comes to the device itself, most devices only have a setting to enable (or disable) data roaming.  Data romaing does need to be turned on there to use mobile data while you're in the US, but that setting will have no effect on voice and SMS text messsaging services.

Yes, Canadian number. All features of the plan can be used in both Canada and the US. You can also call to/from the US. It's a great plan.

@Anni8  Yes it a Canada number from your province or ported number from old provider . Choice is yours . The CAN /US plans are true snow bird plans you can use it to call to and from both countries talk text and data in either country . And yes you can cancel at any time with no surprise bills
