My current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G. I have switched to a 5G plan but still only get LTE.
I have checked my area which is Perth Ontario Canada which is supposed to support 5G . I have double checked my setting but hasn't solved my issue.
For reference I have a work phone which is 5G and is working on 5G platform, but is with another provider.
Thank you for your time,
Marque

@Marque
Even the phone is restricted to use the 5G on public mobile,, your phone will be able to get a higher speed on 5G plan.

Sorry, but this phone cannot be used on the 5g network at Public Mobile. This is a device software restriction that gets imposed whenever a Public Mobile SIM card is being used.
