Can not send or receive calls from US, calls drop

Hi 

My plan is not working I am in NY and can't make any calls or receive calls. I am on Canada/US plans.

Please help.

@Granite71 If SMS and data work, it's likely a VoLTE issue. The US decommissioned their 3G networks, so that means phone calls need to connect over the 4G or 5G networks; meaning you need a VoLTE compatible phone. Unfortunately the white list excludes a lot of devices. What phone are you using?

Same sort of issue here also.  Internet, SMS works but phone does not.  Worked fine last month.

Try to update the setting roaming enabled  in the device. sometimes we might forget about it. its not a default optoin as such in the devices. Please try to enable and restart your phone

Is data and SMS working? Sometimes there are issues in AT&T 5G, so I turn 5G off and don't have any issues. Some phones will also try to connect to Verizon, but they aren't a roaming partner. 

@GEG  Have you tried both AT&T and T-Mobile?  Which one were you connected to when it worked?  Are you still in the same place you were when it worked before?   Did you check the VoLTE list for your phone?

This just happened. I have been using my phone in the US for the past month. I am on LTE and restarted my phone again but didn't help.

@GEG   If your phone is not on the list of VoLTE enabled phones for PM roaming, try connecting to T-Mobile's 2G network.

make sure you have a volte enabled cellphone. Make sure you're connecting to either AT&T ot T-Mobile.
