Just a recommendation if you're going to do this... schedule the move out of public mobile no less than 5 days before the scheduled renewal date so that you're not stuck for another full cycle here.
This is because credits are not given back for partial services remaining when one ports their number out.

Yes, you are able to port your PM phone number to another company. Your PM account needs to be active. Your new carrier will need to know the following information: PM phone number, PM account number and account holder name. Keep your PM SIM card in your phone after port request to receive the port request text and answer yes to the request.

@Nancy88 @Yes you can port your number to another carrier , you will just need you pm account number for the port and remember you will need to keep old SIM card in your phone until you receive the confirmation text to port @ that point you have 90 mins to reply YES
