I just registered to PM last night and now can’t make calls. Is it because of eSIM card? How does it work? What am I supposed to do?

No, that's factory reset. The network reset will remove all your saved wifi's and bluetooth pairings.

@Reps check if you installed the eSIm profile successfully and if the eSIM is set active.
If you have another eSIM from another provider, disable it.
If you still have a physical sim from another provider, pull it out
And if you confirmed your PM eSIM is installed, try clicking Reset All Networks and see if it helps

Is anything else working? Data? Text? What about incoming calls? Was your credit card charged? Did you get a welcome email from Public mobile?
Maybe try to reboot phone.
If that does not work, try a network reset of phone (this will erase saved Wifi settings).
