I set up my new public moblie account using an Ontario number I’m presently living in New Brunswick now I can’t receive calls and only some messages
should I put my region as Ontario and not New Brunswick

Are you an old PM customer and replacing your old SIM with a new SIM?
You can just login to your account and Change SIM Card.
But if you are Activating a new SIM for another phone. Just remember that taxes are based in the area code of the phone.
Try rebooting your phone by powering off then back on to see if calls and texts are coming through.

@DebMacD no need to change the address on My Account.
you can make outgoing calls without problem?
Try changing the phone's Preferred network type or Network mode to 3G only and see if you can receive call. It should work that way

@DebMacD Did you just port number over when activating and miss the confirmation text from old provider to reply YES to confirm porting ? If so there a number for Telus porting team that can help I’ll send you the number private message
