I can phone my husband who is with Public, but when he calls me it goes straight to voicemail. Samsung Galaxy A71. He is not blocked. I did a complete phone reset back to factory default setting, still happening. I have powered off, removed SIM and replaced, then turned back on. I have been in contact with Samsung who ran a diagnosis on my phone and they cant find the problem.

Yes....although it makes sense when combined with my later post which I linked for other customers like @mcryall42 who I will send the telus porting department phone # unless they have already reached out to customer support. Thank you for pointing out the "weird" solution so I could at least edit it for others. Its worth noting that @HALIMACS mentioned porting first.

1. reseat sim
2. change network to 3G Only
3. put your PM sim in another phone

I am having the same issue as lizwebb and have tired everything noted here. What is the number to call Telus to see if this is a porting issue?

Did you port your number in? If you did then it sounds like your port didn't complete. Is your old providers account still active? Did you leave your old sim card in your phone to respond YES to the porting authorization text? Is your old sim still active? If yes then your calls are still going to your former providers voicemail. You can reinitiate your porting request by calling the telus porting department with your former providers account #. Check your private messages for the telephone number. This phone number will only be able to assist if its a porting issue.

DND is not on. I put the SIM card into my old phone, same problem

If you have just recently activated - incoming calling may go to voicemail and is the last thing to complete the porting process.
Try resetting Network connection or manually selecting 3G vs LTE

Hi @lizwebb do all incoming calls go straight to voicemail? If so, please check your voice call and make sure "Always forward" is disabled
Please keep us posted

Your sim card needs reprovisioning this can be done by the moderators or by you using the lost/stolen feature in your account however if you do choose to use this troubleshooting technique it will cause another glitch that your rewards will not apply upon renewal. So you will still have to contact the moderators after renewal to have your rewards applied manually. The choice is yours.....
Log in. Go to the plans or usage page. Click on lost/stolen. Suspend your service. Log out/in. Resume your service. Log out. Reboot your phone. You should be able to recieve your incoming calling without it automatically going to voicemail.

Do you have any Do Not Disturb settings turned on?
Can you try your SIM in another phone...but not his?
