@Shiral - well that is unfortunate.
Are you sure the addons were added correctly showing up in your Plan Details /over sections of your account?
If everything was purchased as it should have been and the Available Funds were taken for the service. Talk to an CSA agent and tell them your experience.
If services are not working well, they really should not even offer roaming in USA. 😕

This is an increasingly occurring issue it seems like. This 3G thing seems to be causing a lot of headaches, I would definitely recommend alternatives when I. The USA going forward

It could be due to US shutting down 3G network?
Since you sometimes had service add-on is working properly. But due to network availability or signal strength you do not have permanent connection.

If you have the networks setting set to automatic then it will switch around between the two carriers. AT&T is in the midst of turning off 3G which will not allow talk roaming for Public customers. So if it has switched to AT&T then that area might be off for 3G. Other areas might still be on. All providers have not great reception areas. I suggest setting it manually to T-Mobile.
