Anyone know how long I can roam in U.S. without issue?

I plan to go south for an extended period of time (a couple of months). Does anyone know if it is an issue that most of the usage is roaming? Thanks!

hi @Joe_is_cool the Canada US plan includes data and inbound/outbound calls when you are in US too.  You can call US and Canada when you are in US.  So, basically you use the plan in US like you are in Canada. You can subscribe to the plan without worries

The customer support of Public Mobile is pretty responsible, but they are nowhere near knowing about their product. We had in total 10+ messages and the CS agent either replied with irrelevant information without reading my questions, or losing context quickly and making me start over and repeating my questions. At the end, I am giving up after "The plan includes incoming and outgoing calls to the US while you are in Canada. If you travel to the US, you need to add a US roaming add-on."

It’s the U.S.-CAN plan

If you have the Canada plan. You will need to purchase Add-on for calling, texting and data.

What is the plan you are on?

If you get USA/Can plan it is unlimited calls and texting in/out.

As per 'issues' it will depend in connection to 'partners' PM has in USA. I hope you will have good connection all the time and if not try manually switching to PM partner. Plus VoLTE enabled might might help.

@Joe_is_cool  There is no time limit mentioned in PM website , unlike other carrier that specify x amount of time

@Joe_is_cool  technically there is no specific time frame with the Canada-US plans.

Works just like home with a VoLTE enabled phone on PM whitelist.
