Anyone else having internet issues?

This afternoon my phone starting saying there is no internet connection. I've restarted, turned airplane mode on and off, wifi on and off, any other suggesitions? I've only used ~4 of my 20 GB.

Other posts are popping out about outages in ON too @jackiegreen .  Hopefully, this is all temporary and fixed soon. If anyone submits a ticket to CSA, please share what they say, if you'd like.

@emjhay287   it look like a big area in GTA or even Ontario is having issue with Data  😞

I’m pretty sure it’s Telus’s problem. As what I mentioned before, I have Koodo and PM, both are not able to access the internet.

Do you all have data left on your plan? If you have another device/desktop to use, check My Account to make sure. Ensure to click the little circle refresh button or log in through an incognito tab to see info.

 

Check for outages in your area:

https://www.telus.com/en/on/outages

 

If data remains and no outages reported, try your sim into another phone to see if data works.

Perhaps the devices have data limiters on, which stops data usage on a device level.

 

Otherwise, submit a ticket with CSA to see what is up.

Yes, I tried. I saw someone reported the internet issue in the Koodo community.

HI @jackiegreen   did you try to reboot your phone?

 

But look like it has problem within Ontario?

I have the same issue. I have Koodo as well. Both my Koodo and PM can’t access internet. I am located in Scarborough, ON.

HI @imcndn   both you and your daughter from different location do not have data?

 

is voice and text working?

I'm in Hamilton, ON.  Checking with my daughter.  She is also with PM and is in Stoney Creek, ON.

I have no issue with the internet connection. I am located in Burnaby, BC

I used to have some connection issue but turn out the cause is VPN provider. you can also double check if the cellular data is turned on or not.

HI@Caerels   Keep the data turned on and you might see good news on the way home.  Reboot the phone whenever you have a chance

Could be a local issue as @DDM69  has suggested.

What area are you in...maybe someone here can see if there's any outages reported in your locale.

I don't think so, it's worked in this location for the last year and was working up until this afternoon.

Test your phone in another area

 

if you want, you can open ticket with PM CS agent:

at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot

First type Contact CS Agent,
then select the only choice there:  "Contact..",
from the list of ,  choose "Other"
finally click the the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .

After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent


If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can also send a private message to the CS Agent (but this can take longer):

Could you be in a location where you have a weak connection to the network?

yeah... I am having internet issues as well.  There is another post here about no data by another user too.  There must be something going on.
