Group messaging not working on my and my familys phones

Good afternoon, I am seeing that my phone as well as my families phones are not able to send and receive group messages. Mms messages.  Is there something wrong on your end that may be doing this?

@Angela28 if you are in Ontario,  people reported that data start working now.  Try reboot your phone once and test

@Angela28 are you in Ontario?  there seems to be a mass outage to some part of Ontario with data.  It could be the cause of your trouble

It would all be connected to the settings in the devices and types of phones (android or iphone, or a mix) @Angela28 

Ensure data is turned on to send/receive MMS/group messaging.

 

iPhone, go to Settings > Messages and turn on MMS Messaging.

 

 
Android
  1. Go to the main screen of your messaging app and tap the menu icon or menu key (on the bottom of the phone); then tap Settings.
  2. If Group Messaging isn't in this first menu it may be in the SMS or MMS menus. In the example below, it's found in the MMS menu.
  3. Under Group Messaging, enable MMS.
