4G speeds issue

Bullet77

Does anyone have 4G and has a speed test app on their phone? Please post speeds.

I switched 3 days ago to a 4 G plan.

There is definately something wrong for me?

I am getting 1.47 mb down and 5.89 mb up.

I am testing of Telus server in Calgary.

I have restarted my phone.

I have pulled my sim card and put into another phone, with same result.

I did what Simon wanted too and his info was wrong on reseting network.

@gpixel

Thanks but it looks like you tested your Wifi.

I  have customer support working on it now. They agree with me,  my speeds are not correct.

My upload speed is fine and but my download is not.

I am getting 1.5 to 3 mb down and 15 to 18 mb upload.

speed test didn't test the upload speed for some reason. if it's been more than 2 days you can contact customer support. try resetting your network settings

@Bullet77 , generally it takes about 48 hours before the 4G speeds kick in.  Judging by the upload speed, it does look like you are on 4G speed.  Speed tests are highly variable and dependent on local tower loading.  A single speed test is not statistically significant in informing overall performance.
