Activate new sim with my old phone number

I have purchased a new sim as I lost my phone recently.

can anybody guide me, how can I activate my sim with the previous number.

how long it takes for the sim to get activated after changing the sim number

You just need to go to public mobile site and activate sim with your previous number.

Go to My account, Profile, Change SIM

@User18   You just need to  login to My account and request Change Sim card

When you are in My Account, click on the Quick Links on the top right and select Change Sim card

Enter the new sim card number and following the prompt
