4G phone (Galaxy Note 9), 5G plan, 4.84 Mbps?

Hi all,

[ 4.84 Mbps at 4pm - 133.33 Mbps @ 7pm ]

[[ Update Dec 10th @ 11h30 pm : Up north for funeral and tested at 234.23 Mbps, interesting, better than in Montréal ]

I know my phone is dated, but how can I get anything under 50Mbps in a zone where there's 5G coverage...

ack in the day, prior to becoming a PM customer, I was also on a 5G plan and was getting consistent 50Mbps and up.

Gonna reboot and see.

@computergeek541, I get it, but 4.84 Mbps is just disgusting IMO.

Thanks.

@hairbag1, phone is 4G/LTE, a friend offered to loan me his extra 5G device next week. Will try again then.

@khraeohn, at home next to a window.

Will test with a new phone soon!

If you're in a mall or something this BF weekend, speeds are going to be slow regardless. Too many people flooding the radiowaves.

@fillion01

try using 4G or LTE instead of 5G...let us know if that improves things for you.

Speeds can vary greatly.  Mobile data speeds have never been as consistent as wired connections.
