$40 promotion CAN&US

I saw this  $40 promotion CAN&US, and I would like to know if it mean the service both data and calling is work in US? or it only within Canada?

will be much appreciated if anyone share due to their experience or know someone who using this promotion plan.

Canada-US plans work in both countries.
