I recieved a promotional text offering 5G 75 GB Canada-US-Mexico with 1000 international long distance minutes fro $35 a month. IS this legit? Its also has mexico for 2 contest enrollment. Do you think this plan is unlimited talk and text? it doens't say? telling me to type Yes to respond to text to upgrade. would this be a scam? never upgraded like this. Thanks and any feedback apprechiated.

@Dunkman Thanks for your response.
In my case, the price increase was $1.00 per month with a change from 50GB to 75GB, so I decided to upgrade.

@SueRich wrote:@ORNGNBLK Thanks for your reply. I managed to get info on the plan in another post (different thread) from someone who has that plan. I have just one comment though; this plan does not show up anywhere for me - not on the main "shop" page, nor when I log in and go to my account.
I assume that is because it a a special offer, not available to everyone. But since I received a text inviting me to switch to this plan, I don't understand why it wouldn't show up in my account. I also can't understand why I don't see it when I search Public Mobile plans without logging in.
I saw in another thread that this plan was originally a Boxing Day offer that expired at end of December, which I guess has been brought back for a limited time.
This is a legit invite only offer for existing customers. Like previous text offers, these plans are not shown in your self service account. Even sometimes if you respond "yes" to the text, it will not show up in your account as an upcoming change. That is the way PM marketing offers work.
You are correct that this plan offered is very similar to the Boxing day/Black Friday offers end of last year. Includes the regular talk, text and data. Voicemail, etc.
Along with the Mexico trip contest, this marketing text is enticing existing customers to "upgrade" their plans, which usually means increase in cost per month. However, if you need the extra data or roaming in the US/CAnada, this is a decent deal.

@SueRich all PM plans include unlimited nationwide talk and text, voicemail, call forward and conference calling. These are the bare bones on even the cheapest plan. With Pricier plans you can potentially have additional international minutes, other coverage in the US and/or Mex and increased data. Every plans details should be laid out either on the main “shop” page (without logging in) or the my account -my subscription page after logged in) Hope this helps

I just saw a post from week or so ago from someone who has the5G 75GB Canada/Mexico/US plan and was able to see a list of what is included in the plane.

I got the same offer, and while I believe it is legit, my concern is that I can't find anything about what exactly is included in the plan, apart from 1000 international long distance minutes.

I got this text message too, since I downgraded to a CAD30 plan when I lost my phone. I just responded YES and waiting for the plan to show up on my account. Not a bad deal at all...haven't been to Mexico, I hope I get it 🙂

Yes this is legit. PM is offering for to be entered into the trip for 2 contest to all new subscribers to a can/us/mex plan and "selected" (this means you) current subscribers who upgrade to said plan. Good luck in the contest, and take me if you win.
