3G vs 4G

why does my plan say its on the 4G network but my cell says I am only getting 3G?

When there’s just more traffic on the network than it can reliably support, users may see full bars of signal but experience poor download speeds.

@Cyberman  Yes if you have 4G service but it can change depending on area coverage and environmental areas ie grocery store

Check your phone settings to be sure you're connections include LTE/4G. Maybe also you're in a poor 4G area.

@Cyberman  You will see 3 g for voice even thou your on a 4 G plan
