Recently purchased $34 Canada /US plan .In checking data usage, in the past 3 days (March 4, 5 and 6th) , data between 40 and 120 mb per day were used between 12am and 1 am . There were two times of data use per hour . Does anyone have an explanation for this ?

could be that's when Public Mobile updates the data usage.

No need to worry.
Public mobile only reports data usage once to twice per day usually early in the morning. It is the summary of your data usage. Not a live data tracker.

@Terry41 Yes because PM updates there usage 2x a day so your seeing the usage for the past 12 hours used
