When building your own plan why does provincial calling, texting, and 250mb (3G) of data cost the same as provincial calling, texting, and 1 GB (4G)?

The 30 day 250 meg data plan is intended to be a stand alone plan. There are no discounts when adding to calling/texting. PM has confirmed this has been done purposefully.

It somes odd, but apparently yes.  It's very likely am error.  The 1 gig 3G data costs less than the 1 gig lte data.
