2GB for 8 months promo

I happened to notice the promo on the home page.

The $70 plan is more an option to switch to in a circumstance where you need that much data for only a month or two while traveling or moving and you cannot get home internet set up right away. There is also a sizeable portion of the population without the necessary credit score to qualify for a postpaid plan offering large data buckets for cheaper prices.

Other than that this Lunar New Year promo gets bonus data for the $25 plan for 8 months, I don't see why anyone who is planning on activating on $35+ plans would not use instead the never ending 2GBBONUS promo as I see that is still (unofficially) available.

 @Community_QA : Well...that's a value opinion that is up to whatever people might want to do with their money. I have 3 $10 plans. I couldn't possibly justify spending that. But people have different circumstances and needs.

maybe no one really join $70?  why you pay that much here.  If you pay  $70, go with Telus or Rogers and you get free phones already

And in the terms and conditions of the confirmation email (above) it says twice "activate on any plan $25 or more and get 2gb of bonus reoccurring plan data......"
