I signed up with Public last year (three family members and I) with the promo 2GB data bonus which was definitely unlimited for the life of my plan. This was a $35 3GB/month plan with the additional 2GB bonus. Just this month I noticed the free 2GB has dropped on two of our plans, now I'm paying $35 for 3GB. Any idea why this happened?

@dust2dust you are right, like like the 12 months limitation is just a thing this year
@MelanieMay1 that would be an easy ask them, just message them back and tell them all their 2GBBonus last year were "forever", so, you got it last year that mean you were eligible. There is no reason why it becomes 12 months now

All four accounts are not joined (I tried and was told I had to have a separate profile and account for each member) and I had to stagger the activations as every time we tried an activation it failed and we had to spend days resolving it. The rough date we all joined was November 2021

@softech- All of the 2gb promos last year made no mention of limited time.
@MelanieMay1- Not good enough. Or...come back next year and do the same thing. Ask for the extension. For all of them.
Adding - don't let them tell you this is a one-time goodwill gesture. It's not. That was the deal. No limits.

@MelanieMay1 When was the exact date you joined? or the 4 accounts joined?

No it was a 'for the life of your plan' bonus and I have not made any changes to it. I opened a ticket and they applied a 12 month 2GB free promo to my account but I'm choked that it wasn't for the life of the plan. I switched all four family members to Public for the free 2GB for life plan.

Most helpful will be screenshot of promo you signed up with to present to agent if you feel you are missing that 2GB promo.
Some promos are for limited time, some will stay until you are customer. Difficult to advise without more info.

Do you remember if you use the 12MONTHS2GB promo code which is only good for 12 months?

@MelanieMay1 there have been couple 2GB bonus last year, some are 12 months but some are "forever".
All these activation bonus have a clause saying you cannot make any plan change or you will loss it
If you didn't make any plan change and you sure yours is 2GB bonus "forever", please open ticket with PM Support and have them to confirm:
