$15 dollar plan

Hello,

I got an offer to switch my plan and decided to do so for a few months. Now the $15 plan I've had for years isn't on the website anymore.

Is there a way to get the plan back, otherwise I'll end up switching service providers as I only need text. Any recommendations for similar plans with other companies?

Thanks

@fynn_soop  Check out the Telus link that @Chalupa_Batman suggested, here it is again

https://www.telus.com/en/mobility/prepaid/plans

For $100 a year you get 400 minutes of calls and 400 text messages however if you use the current promo code you get unlimited calls and texts plus 2GB of data a month for the first year.  That's just over $8 a month.

Can you get Freedom Mobile in your location? If so the $10 plan ($5 w/autopayment) is basically the same as the old $15 plan here except only 100mb of 5G data and Canada/US/Mexico Roaming. It also qualifies for price protection.

@fynn_soop, as the others' have mentioned, the $15 plan is only available in Quebec so you can't go back to it. You can have a look at TELUS as it looks like they offer prepaid plans starting at $15, and TELUS owns Public Mobile so transferring over should be straight forward after contacting TELUS

Hey @fynn_soop

If you've upgraded your account from the $15 plan to another, that $15 plan is gone for good. Only folks in Quebec can get that plan. These are the cheapest plans currently. Although,

Although, I wonder if there has to be a something that is mandatory under the CRTC regulations.

Here is the one from Telus. Might want to look into it.
