Texts missing in Usage History

Hi. I searched the Community and no clear answer for this. Under what circumstances or conditions will texts (incoming & outgoing) NOT show up in my Usage History? I made sure the filter’s date range included the dates of the texts I was looking for. The ones I can’t find are from a Group, could that be it?

It would appear to be just as you said. The two I was looking for where both MMS from Android devices. I downloaded my usage and they weren't in the Excel spreadsheet either.  Another mystery solved, thanks.

That would be my guess.  I just checked my usage history as I remembered I received an MMS message from a family member who has an Android recently, and it doesn't show.  The only thing that shows in my usage history is my SMS response to that person's MMS message.  iMessages also don't show, of course.   So it looks like only SMS messages get listed.

the filter on the site might be glitchy

try not to use filter but simply download it first.  it will come in Excel format with everything in the last 3 months.  You can then filter using Excel
