1000 U.S. Long Distance Minutes and the $15 plan.

If one goes over the 100 outgoing minutes included with the $15 plan, can he/she use the 1000 U.S. Long Distance add-on to make Canadian calls from Canada? 

*i am aware it is an US add-on that can only be used in Canada to make calls to the US.

*I am aware there is a $5 - 500 Canada add-on available.

@TMS   Yes, PM used to offer 200 minutes for $8 (I think) for calls to the US (still have that add-on in my account) which could also be used for calls within Canada.

@softech Thanks for straightening that out for me. PM changed their addons around 2-3 years ago. I do recall using “SOME” 🙂 US addon with my older $10 plan to make Canada calls from Canada.

No. US long distance add-on is to call USA ONLY. It will not add minutes to calls in Canada.

@TMS  No, you cannot use that add-on

But if you have the holiday bonuses from last couple Decembers, those 500 mins Long Distance calls can be used to call within Canada
