Please help I can't use my public mobile sim at all until I unlock it

@Staceylovesdust FYI:
“PIN unlock key (PUK)” is a SIM-specific code used to prevent unauthorised use of a SIM card.
This PIN (Personal Identification Number) enables secure access to the SIM card and network. It is on your SIM card. PM SIM cards do not require a PIN to activate.
If the PIN code is entered incorrectly 3 times, the phone is locked (except for emergency calls) and requires a PUK (Personal Unlock Key) to reactivate it.
Once the PUK is recovered and validated, you will be asked to choose a new PIN.
Only Public Mobile's CSAs can give you this type of code, which the device manufacturer cannot. Public Mobile's CSAs can be contacted by submitting a ticket at: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
Caution! If the PUK is entered incorrectly ten times in a row, the SIM card becomes unusable.

@Staceylovesdust Please use the 3 dots top right of your post to edit and delete your PIN as you're posting on a public forum.
PM's default PIN for the SIM is 1234 IIRC.

It is definitely a 8 digit sim PUK it wants

@Staceylovesdust i think 10 times is max for SIM PUK.
But if you tried 10 times for SIM PIN and it is now asking for SIM PUk, then it is different, use this direct link to open ticket with PM for SIM PUK:

@Staceylovesdust The default SIM PIN is 1234 unless you're asking for the unlock code for your phone? Yes, I believe you get 10 attempts to unlock the SIM before it gets locked and needs customer support as advised earlier.

You will need to contact a CS_Agent by private messaging (envelope icon top of page) or Chat (bottom right) and type in Need PUK on this Community page.
If you have a Samsung phone, you might need a PUK to unlock the phone at 1-800-726-7864.
