There are many ways to call people in the U.S. for free.  While some of these methods require the person receiving the call to also using the same app, some do not. I would consider the use of an app such as Facebook Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp, etc.

What else you need to know:

• Add-on offers are available for all new and existing customers from December 1st 9:00AM ET to December 31st 2020 11:59PM ET
• Limited time free add-ons are one-time only and will fall off your account when fully used 
• Each free add-on can only be added to each customer account once. Limit of one 2GB data add-on and one 500 min international calling add-on per customer

As you can see, the Holiday Give Away package you speak of, has long expired. Will it return ?... Nobody here is qualified to definitively answer that. Just keep watching.

 @pkaraa : 3 summers ago there was a data gift. 2 Xmas's ago there was an LD and data gift. 2 summers ago there were gifts for most westerners. Last Xmas there were the LD and data gifts.

2 BF's ago there was an excellent promo that sorta got sweetened as it went along. Last BF was not so good.

So we'll see.

One of my line was activated in march this year, waited for easter, mothers day, fathers day, canada day, heritage day, labour day, thanksgiving nothing came by...

Will it happen this black friday or Xmas day .. we dont know. 😞

   • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
   • If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
