‘Tis the season to be jolly, and this holiday season we are back with our More is Merrier campaign at publicmobile.ca/holiday

 

In the spirit of giving, this year’s rewards are bigger and better than ever before:

 

  • Connect more with 2GB of free data
  • Chat more with 500 free international minutes
  • Win more from a pool of $10,000 worth of gift cards

 

Available today until December 31st, 11:59PM EST, all new and existing customers can get a free 2GB data add-on, 500 minutes of international long-distance calling, and a chance to win one of 131 Amazon gift cards. 

 

How to redeem your free data and international minutes:

  1. Log into your Self-Serve account 
  2. Click “Purchase Add-Ons” in My Data & Add-ons section of Overview tab
  3. Select the Free Holiday Giveaway: $0 2GB Add-on and/or Free Holiday Giveaway: $0 500min INTL Long Distance (incl CA & US). It’s up to you if you want one or both!
  4. Click “Buy Add-Ons” at the bottom of your screen.

 

How to enter for a chance to win an Amazon gift card: (Spoiler alert - it only takes 30 seconds!)

 

  1. Enter your details: Head over to publicmobile.ca/holiday and enter: 1) Your name, 2)Your Public Mobile phone number, and 3) Your email
  2. Wait for the draw: Winning customers will be contacted early January via SMS to their Public Mobile phone number.
  3. Cross your fingers: We’ve got 131 draws of $60 (that’s $30 for you and $30 for your friend). 10 draws of $200, $100 each and 1 draw of $1000 to split! 

 

What else you need to know:

  • To be eligible for the gift card contest, an entrant must be an existing Public Mobile customer when entering and at time of draw. Only one entry per customer accepted. Each winner will win 2 gift cards, one for themself and one to share with a friend. More details including how to enter and full Contest Rules are available at publicmobile.ca/holiday.

How Do access promotions from emails received  from Public mobile..I received one this morning for 2 free G of data this month,,, How do I access this? it simple directs me to self serve? I dont know what this means... When i sign into my account it shows me how to purchase data.. how do I access this promotion for December or the next promotion??

The add-ons will remain in your account until they have been used up.

I just added the 2 free gb data on my plan but I'm hoping I won't lose them because I set my plan to change the next cycle on the 10th. Now I think I'm going to miss out because my plan is changing and I will probably lose the holiday free data?? Anyone know if I will lose it or not?

Thanks for the giveaway! Question, I had a 3gb free add-on from when I signed up that I hadn't used at all yet. When I added this 2gb promo, I had figured they would stack one on top of the other, but the 2gb promo seems to have erased my previous add-on. This wasn't written in the terms and conditions. Can this be corrected? Reversed? Stacked? Thanks in advance!

Yes. Your plan's data gets used first and if you run out, add-on gets used. You keep it until you need to use it and exhaust it.

I also have a question about the holiday add-one.  I have monthly data with my plan, so as long as I don’t use up my monthly data, the holiday data can be kept until indefinitely?

So if you use up only 500 MB you can keep them even for a year.

Hi,

I just tried entering the contest and it worked! I entered my phone number as usual (shows up as a keypad when entering it on your mobile browser, assuming no hyphens are necessary). This is what popped up to confirm my entry!

I have just claimed my 2 $0 free holiday gifts.

I have also entered the contest.

My first name also contains a hyphen. Encountered problem with error message telling me to enter a valid name. I tried Chrome in incognito mode. Still same problem.

Then I tried just entering my last name and it worked!

My phone number was entered as a 10-digit number with no hyphens, no spaces, no brackets and no leading 1.

Having trouble accessing the free data and voice ...

Following the directions:

I do Step 2, but the page that opens shows no option to select anything.

It takes me to a page with PLAN, REWARDS, DATA & ADDON USAGE, LOST PHONE, etc, etc along the top, and a page full of Roaming info.

 

What am I missing?

EDIT:...   omg... ignore.... I just needed to scroll down on the page.  Epic fail on my part. lol

Probably some of the problem,  is the system server can't handle all the popularity right now  . .  best to pop back later in the week when the server is not smokin'    😉

 

 

I input my full name (not just forum username)  but the first error indicated a problem with phone number  ... did a reentry with dashes still in place and then the "enter contest"  button was non-responsive.
