You choose the option to update your plan on next renewal date. So you will benefit from your current plan and the new plan will kick in only after your 30 days are over.

How do you do that,I want to change from 20 g to 40 and they want another $38.I bought the 20 on the 20th today is the 27th

You will stay on the old rewards system unless you specifically choose to switch to the new.
My wife is on the old system and has changed her plan a few times with no problem in this regard.

If I change my plan, will it change my current rewards? I currently receive $9 off/month. I do not want that to revert to $1.70 worth of rewards points.

Buy it from amazon to get it within a day. Then when you get the PM sim card in your mailbox, return the amazon order with the sim you got from PM.

$34 after tax 38.42
11-27-2023 09:29 AM
Bro I did and the future plan just randomly disappeared
11-27-2023 01:03 AM
The sim hasn't come in the mail yet 😓. Is there no way of swapping to the $34/40gb plan without the sim?
11-27-2023 12:50 AM
There was 40GB for $34 available, did you miss out on that one?
11-27-2023 12:49 AM
Yes, I did it👍
11-27-2023 12:47 AM
You have to sign out after changing forfait, waiting some minutes then sign in.
You will get it.
11-27-2023 12:44 AM
Yes, go to forfait/option👍
11-27-2023 12:43 AM
You're very good 👍 advising
11-27-2023 12:40 AM
Oh, it's a good idea.
I didn't know that.👍
11-27-2023 12:35 AM
Yes, you could activate your sim and your account 🙂
11-27-2023 12:33 AM
Do you think there will be a promotion at that price?
11-26-2023 10:50 PM
Me neither, I see 40$ for 50gb though
11-26-2023 10:49 PM
Is there a 50gb/34 5G plan? I don't see it
11-26-2023 10:41 PM
Was having a hard time switching my sub, until today. Got the 50gb/34 5G plan ...
Well I thought I got it, but I didn't receive any email confirmation. So I looked back in to find no change was made, even though I remembered making the change...
11-26-2023 09:31 PM
Just get this new plan and arrange for it to be activated during your next plan renewal date. In that case, you wn't lose money and can get this plan as well.
11-26-2023 08:54 PM
good deal but switched right after I got the 20 GB plan
11-26-2023 05:45 PM
I was able to do that too, signed up for $34 5g 20 gb this cycle and changed to the $34 5g 40 gb for the next cycle. But I think they could have saved everyone the hassle (not to mention the overload on the servers) and automatically upgraded those who took the 20 gb $34 5g BF offer to 40 gb.

These are very good black Friday deals but I'm still waiting for a good deal for $25 or less with more data.
11-26-2023 04:32 PM
Hi I joined, the deal when it was 34 for 20gb, and have not received my sim or finished activating my account yet. Would i be able to swap to the new deal for 34 for 40gb

If you pay with a credit card or a payment voucher more than what your current plan requires, the surplus amount stays in your account as "Available Funds". When it's time for renewal, Public Mobile takes money from there first before it charges your credit card. I always keep enough available funds for the next renewal. It avoids a lot of payment problems with Autopay which sometimes happens.

@Loaneal Here is a crop of the Payments page on the website using a browser. It shows your scheduled plan.
11-26-2023 01:36 PM
How do you get " availble funds"
11-26-2023 01:34 PM
If you go to the "Payments" page, you'll see what plan you have scheduled for. See below for an example when you're using the phone app. You'll find a similar page on the website when you're using a browser.

@J_PM Any news on whether the $15 plan will finally get a facelift?
