Do you still have access to your old email? If not, maybe try your old email with your password. Or do you mean you updated it on public mobile?

Is it possible that the autofill on your browser is inputting the wrong email address? Maybe when you go through the password reset you're able to do it because you're manually typing it. Try doing it again in an incognito tab, or after deleting your...
