And the numbers are STILL a shadow of former participation.... because so many left!

Less participation because a LOT of people left, after the loss of the old Reward program.

And what is the point of a shout out when no one is being shouted out? So no one is being recognized.

Exactly! They call it a shout out but NO ONE know who they are! So this is a complete waste of time!

How can one be recognized without be recognized?

Just like any shows, you see the stars on the stage for the 60 minutes, but there are also people who spent countless hours behind the scenes.  The might not have a "pretty face" but they work as hard as the stars.

yup @Handy1 , this is one way to see it, but the other side of the coin is PM system is working better these so people has less to ask .  And it is true that this year, we see a drop in system wide issues, which resulted in less repeated posts about "my phone does not work"  (don't get it wrong, the system is still not perfect, just less glitches compare with previous years)

but we still have valuable members like @Handy1  who do not sleep and help round the clock.  Community would never be the same without the help from everyone  🙂

@softech  well even if what you say is correct it’s just proof that PM is in free fall a complete nose dive . And folks have woken  up and said nuff  is a nuff time to move on and I applaud them for it .

First, congratulate on your Sept rewards

But I have to point out that your comment was an unfair one as you simply look at the rewards given without comparing with the overall participation

The Threads and the Replies in Sept were at all time low in Sept 2024:
-  Threads was the lowest for at least 4 years (it was only 1/3 of the average number for the last couple years).   
-  Replies was the lowest from 2022 also. 

So, the Rewards given for Sept was in line with the overall participation. 

Remember March 2024? PM gave 32 for the top 1% and 39 and 118 for Top 5% and 10%.  It was the highest ever, which correlated with the high participation of the month.

Each month is getting worse only 1 top 1% again with fewer top 5% and fewer top 10% it’s like PM is tripling down on trying to save money and less room for “give back “ congrats to those that were able to earn anything as it becoming less desirable to even help out anymore . ( sighs)

Probably also because there is no true shout-out anymore... for a very long time. So, those that do earn these accolades go unrecognized; like winning an award but no one else knows about it... 😕

What a joke... the dwindling numbers of recipients goes to show how many fewer people are participating anymore, ever since the loss of the old Reward program... Many have moved on. Tis' a sad day...
