I plan to travel to China from July 5, 2024, to August 13, 2024. I would like to know the cost of using mobile phone services during this period. What are the most affordable options for using mobile services?

PM data add-ons will not work in China. Also, fyi..the data add-on will expire after 30 days unless you use it all.

@Emily22 - I would suggest freedom if you want to have $45 15GB roam beyond plan or get an eSIM from airalo.

if you have the WhatApp app on your cell, you'll be able to talk & text to anyone else who has the WhatsApp on their phone. You'll be using local wifi or separately purchased data for that. I've used it while travelling in MX and seems to work great....and it's gratis.

there is not choice to use PM service in China, it does not have service there

your choice and best one is to get local sim card from China there

or you can use Travel esim if your phone supports
