Bring back old 1GB Plan

I see that PM found the sweetspot for middle data users. But, there are many others who just need enough data for some occasion like transiting or going on a local trip. It even comes in handy when there is a problem with Wi-Fi. I am sure having as little as 1GB was the option that suited many. I see that PM is targeting user for that awesome $120 plan, but it will not be the choice for many other who don't need that 6GB or 3GB data. I don't see this hurting when you will be targeting light and medium data users. For light data users, they got no choice. There is a big difference between 1GB @ $90 and 3GB @ $111. I do not see the point to just ignore light data users. That 3GB options should not be offered because there is only $9 difference to get extra 3GB so who wouldn't? 

So, i think PM should bring back that $90 / 1GB plan because getting on the plan without data and than adding $30 add-on would be too much.

Hi, most of us love stay with $90/90 days with 1 gb data, I suggest PM would allow current users  to keep the current plan while renewal.

@4siu, great news! You are able to keep your current plan when renewing. The only scenario where you would be unable to take advantage of the $90/ 90 day plan is if you choose to switch to another plan and then decide you want to switch back.

*You* don't seem to understand. You're trying to tell me to understand your marketing tactics (similar to McDonald's upsize me), while you don't understand my family economics. I'm not spending an extra $20+ for 3 or 4 plans because I'd be saving more.

For those contemplating going with Fongo, you can get 1GB data-only for $20 (with 150 MB at $10).

While I do commend Public Mobile for offering better deals on the bigger data plans, I cannot see any logical reason why the smaller data plans had to go to make this possible. That just makes no sense at all. Why not offer both?

Perhaps PM could make a Somewhat compromise: 1.5 GB, or 800 MB, But, altogether, I'm happy with my current 90 Day Plan

I think that it would be a great marketing tactic to re-open the 1gb/90day plan for a short period of time before re-grandfathering it out. In a sort of limited time offer fashion you could attract alot of new customers looking to get on board with a new temporary deal.

I'm mostly just upset that I didn't switch to PM in time though :'(

If PM is about value, I agree with @makkahn28 that they need to make a valuable lower-tier package... give it more "value"

- 1500 minutes, 1500 texts, 1500 MB per 90 days for $30.

Too complicated? Then simply bring back the 1 GB plan!

What happened to the "Canadian texts" option? 98% of people do not text internationaly. Who is the target audience? After showing us that they can provide options, they take them all away to give you value packs. Sounds like cable/satellite tv packages... we'll add in 50 channels and up the price by $25.

Honest question, because in that case the $111 - Province calls, global text, 3Gb plan would drop to $85/month, which I would switch to.

But in the rewards section, I only see the standard things I know of already, which only really guarantees the $6 per 90 days savings of autopay.

You also earn reward points by bringing friends ($1/month/friend) and participating in this forum.

Coming from a $85, I can see how people can save.

Coming on the other hand from Wind, prepaid, or other entry-level plans, it's nothing to write home about.
