Check the settings :

Go to the settings on your phone > More > Mobile Networks > Access point names

Press the Menu, and select New APN

Input the following information, on each field:

Name: PM
APN: sp.mb.com

Please realize  that making changes to APN setting cannot make placing or receiving phone calls possible. APN settings don't have anything to do with phone call capabilities.

@majomon

You can wait for the moderators to get in touch or you can change the number yourself from within your account.

Hi, thanks.

the no. for this phone is already assigned. So able to make calls; but not able to receive calls. On calling it says 'not in service"

@majomon

I think @LovesToPM  nailed it on the head. If you chose a new number at activation and its been this way since that time then accidently assigning a phone number already in use is not unheard of. Calling it and hearing the outcome can confirm it for you. Once confirmed if this is your first and only number you've had since activating your sim card you will have no issues changing your number within your account. If you feel more comfortable waiting for a moderator to confirm this  is ok too.

Hi @majomon

Try calling your number from another phone (maybe in the morning if it's late now).

If someone else answers your call or your call goes to someone's else voicemail, then the number is already in use and there was a glitch when the new number was assigned to you.

If this is the problem, logon to your account and change your phone number. You are permitted to get a new number once every 30 days.

Thanks for the reply. Tried this out; but still n/w. Waiting on moderators...

What does the caller get when they call you? (or you call your number from another phone)

Perhaps the phone is on do not disturb. Check your settings.

Perhaps it's on call forwarding all to somewhere. Check your settings or dial ##002# to reset.

Perhaps you blocked calls from whoever you're testing getting a call from. Check your block call settings.

tried this out; n/w. waiting for moderators to respond

@majomon  Power off your phone. Remove the sim for 5 minutes reinsert the sim power up and test again.

@majomon

Are your calls going to voicemail? Log into your account. Suspend your service via lost/stolen. Log out. Wait 1 min. Log in. Unsuspend. Log out. Reboot. Test. Have someone call you.

@majomon  if it's still not working your account likely did not provision correctly. You'll have to contact moderators to fix the issue. See my earlier post with instructions on how to reach them.

Thanks; will check these out.

@majomon try resetting your network settings

1. From the home screen navigate to Settings>General>Reset
2. Tap Reset Network Settings
If prompted enter your passcode
3. Tap Reset Network Settings
4. Restart your phone

@majomon thank you for the answers. I gather you selected a new number at signup.

You can try putting resetting your network settings. If that don't work try putting putting phone on airplane mode for 5 minutes. If it still don't work. Plug the phone into iTunes and see if it pushes any updates to the phone.

If none of those solve the problem your account may have not provisioned correctly and you will need to speak to the moderators to fix your account. Two ways to reach them.
