upgrade to 4G

Hello Community,

I am still on a 3G plan ( from way back), and want to upgrade to a new plan. Will I be able to keep all my rewards, free data etc.?

I still have a legacy extra minutes booster

I dont think Public even offers plans with limited minutes anymore so that addon will stay on my account forever I think

I know its a 3G plan but is it actually?

I had a VERY OLD legacy 4G plan

One day I logged into my self serve and it was changed to 5G

All other features are identical and all addons were not expired (plus the fact that plan was never even offered in 5G days)

I am pretty sure Telus (Public) will shut down 3G soon (I know Koodo no longer even allows it; connecting to 3G in poor coverage areas will cause you to incur an additional use fee on your monthly bill)

remember that you won't be able to downgrade back to the 3G plans...they gone now.

yes, plan changing won't affect your rewards and free data and LD option you got from Christmas before.  They will all be there

make sure you use Change on Renewal option to make the plan change

@Kim25   Yes you don't lose any of the bonus data or minutes when you upgrade your plan, nor do you lose any referrals.
